Classification of membrane switches

General classification of membrane switches:(mainly classified by structure)

1: flat type non-tactile long service life, but no tactile.
2:film convex touch typegood touch, but the service life is relatively short.
3: convex frame type no touch typebeautiful appearance, has a strong three-dimensional sense, but no touch.
4: convex frame tactilebeautiful appearance, a strong three-dimensional sense, and tactile.
5: surface plate convex touch typeType a: improperly designed, it is easy to have two-stage phenomenon, but the panel is damaged, and the electrical performance also exists.

Type b: there is no two-stage phenomenon, and there are few structural layers,  which is more economical. If the panel is damaged, the electrical performance will not exist.

6: metal shrapnel type

Type a: this is the most basic and commonly used structure. The shrapnel plays the role of the touch and the role of the line.

Type b: the structure is complex, used for the occasions where the shrapnel is more dense and there is no jumper wire. The shrapnel is placed on-line road, the conductive surface of the upper and lower lines is upward, and the upper line needs punching. The four feet of the shrapnel are not in the same place with the center point during the conduction of this structure, and there is a “two-segment” situation. At the same time, the shrapnel is often in the strong state of excessive anti-concave. For a long time, the shrapnel will not rebound, so it is not recommended to use it.

Type c: the shrapnel is placed on the on-line road, which only plays the role of tact. The upper line conducts electricity facing down, and the lower line conducts electricity facing up. In the case of “two-sections”, the shrapnel is not recommended.

Type d: the shrapnel is placed on the lower line, and the upper and lower lines are wired. The shrapnel not only plays the role of tactile feeling but also connects are upper and lower lines. It is used for more shrapnel, dense and without jumper. It is simpler than type (b) structure. The design should pay attention to the line to avoid the four legs of shrapnel, in order to ensure that no short circuit.

7: luminous body(must open the bottom glue mold)

A: LED line and the next line of the same layer: simple structure, but if the selected LED lamp height is high, the LED lamp will jack up the panel, at this time should be the LED window on the panel to do convex processing, or thickening the thickness of the adhesive layer, so that the thickness is greater than thickness of the LED lamp.

B: different layers of the LED line and the lower line: complex structure, but the LED window does no have to be convex, but the area above the LED lamp must be hollowed out to prevent the light from passing through the LED lamp hole. Note: at this time, the LED lamp hole should be avoided around the wiring of the lower circuit.

8:half-fold type this type can avoid jumpers and do not need to fill holes to make the conductive surface downward. The disadvantage of this structure is that the circuit is easy to break at the double-folded place.
9: waterproof inner and outer frame the outer frame is a closed frame without wires, which protects the inner frame and prevents moisture from entering the case from the outlet groove.
